About this Event
Join us on Fat Tuesday for a fun set of music, merriment, and Mardi Gras magic!
Marty Crums' 'MartyGras' will set the stage for an exciting celebration with some lively, toe-tapping tunes. Known for their spirited performances, this talented group will bring the soulful sounds of Dixieland to life with upbeat rhythms, rich brass harmonies, and a joyful energy that captures the heart of New Orleans.
Dixieland music, often called the original jazz, is a genre that celebrates improvisation, syncopation, and pure fun. Rooted in the rich cultural traditions of Louisiana, it combines ragtime, blues, and brass band elements to create a sound that’s both timeless and infectious.
The MartyGras Dixieland Band will have us clapping, dancing, and smiling. So grab your beads, bring your friends, and let’s celebrate Fat Tuesday in true New Orleans style!
We're grateful for our venue host this month The Heritage at Brentwood and partnering support from CenterWell, Tennessee Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts!
