Join us for an unforgettable afternoon with Martín Espada, National Book Award winning poet and Professor of English at University of Massachusetts -Amherst, as he shares selections from his powerful new collection, Jailbreak of Sparrows (Knopf, 2025). With more than twenty books to his name, Professor Espada is a literary force whose work blends empathy, justice, and lyrical brilliance in acclaimed poetry collections, including Floaters, Alabanza, and Imagine the Angels of Bread. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear from one of the most decorated, influential poets of our time.
Professor Espada will give a 45-minute reading followed by a book-signing and reception.
