Marsimoto, the alter ego of German rapper Marteria, began as a fun-intended project that came about after he spent a rainy Sunday afternoon heavily experimenting with a high pitch effect device, a device that creates a high-pitched voice like that of American rapper Quasimoto, (the alter ego of Madlib). His beats come from Nobody's Face, Ghanaian Stallion, Bazzazian, Dead Rabbit, Robot Chef, Kid Simius, Ben DMA and The Krauts, among others. After a previously sold-out show in 2019, Marsimoto will return to our Max in2024!
