This 6km leisure tour down the “ River ISS” is very scenic along the edges of the marsh. Then a short pit stop in the lower entrance to stretch and quick break.
Then we loop around for a relaxing lazy river ride roughly for 4.5km
We take another quick break just before exiting the marsh where you can snack , washroom break. Then a short paddle back and exiting the slough through a hidden opening. Then back over the crossing entrance and river crossing.
Only a handful of experienced SUPers and kayaking enthusiasts know about this area so we’re excited to be taking you on this adventure.

Meet up time 12:00 pm
Launch 1:00 pm
Distance: 12 km approximately 6km down River - Lazy River return 4.5 km. Then channel crossing
Cost: only $40
Requirements:
- Good Paddle skills - if you've taken our Basic lesson, or are comfortable standing paddling and getting back on the board, this tour is for you
- SUP equipment and Safety Gear.
- Dry bag with toiletries essentials, lunch ,snacks, compact towel, hat , sunscreen, shades
- Bring Water shoes if you have them
- Min fluids of 2 litres is mandatory
- If your SUP is equipped with seat options this is ideal for it.
- Swimwear if you want to dip.
Parking: $6
Register for parking at Canoe shop across the launch pad . Register vehicle plate. We will be meeting at the grass area just left of the day use launch pad.
Car pooling is recommended.
