Marsh by Moonlight by Snowshoe

Join us for the chance to hear yips, howls, and hoots as you experience the wintery night life at Wye Marsh.

Snowshoe through the marsh on a frosty night, under sparkling stars and moonlight. Warm up by a cozy fire. Sip some cedar tea. Take home memories that will last a lifetime, plus a unique Marsh by Moonlight souvenir.

Where: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, 16160 Hwy 12 East, Midland

When: From 5:30 - 7:30 pm on Jan 31, Feb 1, 7, & 8*

How Much: $75 per person. Includes snowshoe rental & souvenir

Ages: 12 +. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a paid adult.

Please remember to dress for the weather. Warm footwear, coats, scarves and mitts are a good idea. (It can get cold at Wye Marsh!)

As much as we love our furry friends, please leave your pets at home for this experience.

About Wye Marsh:

Friends of Wye Marsh is a not-for-profit charitable organization taking care of 3,000 acres of provincially significant wetlands and federal forests in the Heart of Georgian Bay. This National Wildlife Area and recognized Important Bird Area (IBA) provides habitat for a number of significant species including provincially Threatened Least Bitterns, Species of Special Concern Black Terns, and the famous Trumpeter Swans
