Building off the success of our Fishy Fridays, we're thrilled to introduce a new event that’s sure to make a splash with young anglers: the Marsden Cove Fishing Club Fishing Frenzy! This exciting competition will take place in January 2025 and is designed to provide a fun, inclusive, and educational experience for kids of all skill levels.Dates:
Briefing: Thursday, 16th January 2025
Fishing Days: Friday, 17th January and Saturday, 18th January 2025
Prizegiving: 3:00 PM Saturday, 18th January
Age Group:
Open to kids aged 16 years and under, providing a fantastic opportunity for young anglers to showcase their skills, learn new ones, and enjoy some friendly competition!
Fishing Categories:
The competition will focus on four popular species: Snapper, Kahawai, Kingfish, and Trevally & Jack Mack
Anglers can fish from a boat, the beach, the wharf, or the rocks, offering plenty of variety and a chance to try different fishing techniques.
Ticket Price:
$30.00 Member
$40.00 Non Member - NOTE: we have thrown in a junior-only membership so that all the junior anglers will become club members, allowing them the chance to have their fish on the member's leader boards and potentially have fish registered in the Northland Juniors Interclub comp.
