A celebration of Mars’ close approach to Earth with activities, planetarium show, and observing all free! The event begins in the Grand Atrium Lobby with demonstrations and tabletop activities for families, handout material, and take-home resources. A special showing of “Dateline Mars” plays at 7pm, with telescope viewing of Mars (weather permitting) beginning at 8pm on the planetarium’s rooftop observation deck.
