Earth Day is Saturday April 20th and MARS is excited to have a booth! Come see us meet some of our board members. get educated on conservation projects we are doing and come see some of our animals, We'll have birds, reptiles and small mammals to introduce you to. Our mascot, "Jorgie" will be there to greet you!
We will also have a drawings and several raffles for animal sponsorships with purchase of a ticket for $1 each.
Sponsor an animal! You'll receive a shirt, an animal sticker, and an 8 x 10 framed photo of the animaI, updates on the animals progress.
What is Earth Day?
Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by Earthday.org including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. The official theme for 2024 is "Planet vs. Plastics."
