Mike and Alicia Hernon
Mike and Alicia Hernon are the founders of the Messy Family Project, a ministry dedicated to empowering parents to embrace their sacred calling. Married in the early 1990s, they have raised ten children and are now grandparents, drawing on their extensive experience of family life to offer practical insights into Catholic marriage and parenting. What began as a podcast in 2015 quickly grew into one of the top resources for Catholic parents worldwide, reaching thousands of families each month. In 2018, they left their careers to focus full-time on the Messy Family Project, providing hope, encouragement, and tools to help parents navigate the complexities of family life. The Hernons believe that every family has a unique grace given by the sacrament of marriage, and their work continues to inspire families to thrive, even in the midst of life’s messiness.
