First Baptist Church De Soto will be hosting a Marriage and Parenting conference March 14th - 15th. This conference will be led by two exceptional licensed Christian counselors who specialize in marriage and parenting. Marriage topics covered:
- How our personality differences affect our relationship
- Priorities and balance in a good marriage
- What is your personality type?
- Communication styles and the importance of listening
- How to have a close relationship with your spouse
- How to navigate different opinions and decisions
- Reconciliation
Parenting topics covered:
- The importance of knowing your child’s heart
- Four basic parenting styles
- Communicating with your child
- What are the key building blocks to a good relationship
- The importance and art of good discipline
-How to instruct our children
- The impact of Social Media on our children
The cost for this conference is $25/individual plus $25/registered child if childcare is needed. Snacks, light breakfast, and lunch will be provided. Please register online by Sunday, March 2nd.
