Chicagosta kotoisin oleva trumpetisti Marquis Hill lukeutuu kansainvälisen jazzkentän eturiviin. Palkitun Hillin sävellykset yhdistävät post-bopin, hiphopin ja R&B:n maailmoja, ja esimerkki hänen luomisvoimastaan on uusin "Composers Collective: Beyond The Jukebox", jossa Marquis kunnioittaa useita alan isoimmista tähdistä yhdessä ammattimuusikoiden kuten Jeff Parkerin, Joel Rossin ja Makaya McCravenin kanssa. Nyt Marquis Hill saapuu G Livelabiin uuden kvartettinsa kanssa.

Marquis Hill, a trumpeter from Chicago, is at the forefront of the international jazz scene. Award-winning Hill's compositions combine the worlds of post-bop, hip-hop and R&B, and an example of his creative power is the latest "Composers Collective: Beyond The Jukebox" where Marquis pays tribute to several of the industry's biggest stars together with professional musicians such as Jeff Parker, Joel Ross and Makaya McCraven.
Now Marquis Hill arrives at G Livelab with his new quartet.

If the event is not sold out, there will be student tickets available at the door for 30 € each (student tickets not sold online) before the show starts.
