Times: SUP from 9:00am and all other craft from 9:30am

In 2025, we’re scaling back the Maroochy River Paddle to its bare essentials no event tee-shirts, no cash prizes, and no donations to charity. It’s all about the pure joy of paddling.
To keep things fresh and fun, we’re mixing it up by running the event in reverse. Instead of finishing at the club, paddlers will start from the Sunshine Coast Paddlesports Club on Eudlo Creek and paddle up to Dunethin Rock Lagoon.
We’re also encouraging participants to camp overnight at Dunethin Rock— either before or after the race. It’s a great way to foster connection and camaraderie within the paddling community, and enjoy some time out in nature together.
Phone Dunethin Rock Campground on 5446 6246 early to make a booking as places are limited. Mention that you’re part of the race to secure a spot. While the event might be stripped back, the spirit of adventure, community, and fun is stronger than ever.
