Delivered by Deborah Goodall, Director of Aer8 Marketing Ltd and CDI Alliance Ltd, and Guy Lewis, Director at CDI Alliance, this full day workshop will be about developing a complete marketing strategy and tactical plan for their business.

Delegates will leave with the outline of a:

Overarching Marketing Strategy
Tactical Marketing Plan for 6-12 months

Looking at developing a marketing for your business then this workshop is for you. We’ll spend time creating objectives, developing customer profiles, looking at your brand and then selecting the channels to reach your customers - considering, digital and traditional channels. We’ll also think about messaging and how to create messages that motivate your customers.

We will then look at the sales messages and develop an engagement and sales approach plan.

The areas covered during the day will be:

AM - Market Research (PESTLE & SWOT), 7p’s of Marketing & Understanding your customer and what your business means to your customers.
PM – Marketing messages, Marketing tactics – Digital (social media, Online, Email marketing) & Traditional (Press, TV, Radio, Billboards & Posters) activities.

NB – there will be several breakout sessions to work on and develop your own individual plans.

Eligibility:

This Business Lincolnshire programme is funded by UK Government as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and is open to businesses in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors based in the following District Council areas: Lincoln, North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, North Kesteven, South Kesteven, Rutland & West Lindsey.

Previous participants in the Hospitable Boost or Your Business Boost programmes are ineligible for this event or activity.

Presenter – Deborah Goodall

Deborah has 25 years’ experience of growing businesses through effective marketing. She specialises in marketing strategy through understanding target audiences and their triggers and motivations.

Deborah has worked as a consultant for 12 years. Prior to this she worked client-side, so understands the difficulties facing marketing departments and business owners. She is commercially astute and has experience in B2B and B2C environments. Deborah has a passion for direct marketing, with a background in mail order.

Running masterclasses and workshop since 2009, Deborah provides content to help businesses make the most of their marketing potential - covering planning, strategy, brand and execution.

Deborah was elected to be a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2019 in recognition of her coaching and consultancy experience.

Presenter – Guy Lewis

An independent consultant since 2004 specialising in advising businesses on how best to deploy new technology and achieve the dividends this can bring. Experienced across all genres of media production, critical value operations and programme content workflows and able to analyse and deliver the best fit technical solutions suitable for programming needs.

Delivers business support coaching and workshops around business technologies for manufacturing, service industry, construction, and creative and digital sectors.

Guy has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Technology having worked as Head of Production Technology for ITV being responsible for the development of future solutions and media workflow to deliver programming requirements across all departments. Also being engaged by the BBC as the lead technology adviser for Media City to develop, shape, and deliver the technology strategy plan and budgetary costings that achieved BBC Board of Governors’ approval for the new BBC site to be based at Media City UK in Salford.
