About this Event
Join Anna Fraiberg, Content & Communications Manager at the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, and Matilda Aide, Membership & Marketing Supervisor at the Belleville Downtown District BIA, to learn some marketing basics that will help you level up to reach your customers and grow your audience.
They will start by going through a marketing checklist to make sure you have your pages set up, highlighting some of the most common mistakes we see small businesses make. Beyond your website, this includes your primary social media channel(s) and Google Business profile—we want to help make it easier for people to find you! They will also share some insight on creating a social media content calendar to ensure you're showing up consistently for your audience and sharing key messages and updates.
There will be time for a Q+A at the end of the session.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The event will be held in the third-floor meeting room in the library. There is an elevator for accessibility.
Please bring a notebook and something to write with, as well as something you can use to access the internet - a laptop, tablet or phone will be just fine. We will take some time to review your existing online profiles.
