Commercializing Innovation for Community Wellness
Presented by VelocityTX and Methodist Healthcare Ministries, our Community Health Innovation Seminar Series is a 10-session business education curriculum designed to promote the development and commercialization of solutions that address the social determinants of health (SDOH). Tailored to the needs of social entrepreneurs, the series offers basic training on a variety of topics including market analysis, business formation, and intellectual property.
Participants who wish to take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey are invited to sign up for our three-day startup workshop, where seasoned business leaders provide hands-on guidance to help emerging entrepreneurs develop and validate their business concepts. More established startups are encouraged to apply for our intensive accelerator program, which culminates in a public Demo Day where cohort companies will compete for the opportunity to pilot their technologies within the Methodist Healthcare Ministries network of services.
