Christmas Wreath Making Workshops are here! A unique opportunity to experience a different side of Markenfield. In the 16th Century Advent wreaths were a way to celebrate everlasting life and the coming of Christ. The Victorians used them as a method of showing welcome and hospitality to their homes so it’s in keeping with Markenfield that we honour these traditions. Using foliage from our grounds and with all materials supplied , you will enjoy a special morning complete with endless coffee and cake , celebratory prosecco and a photo op of your wreath in our Great Hall or Chapel.
