About this Event
Middle school sucks. Pretty much anyone who survived tweenhood can agree with that. But for those kids who grew up in the early 2000s, that suckage was combined with rapidly evolving technology that presented challenges and opportunities never before seen (like how are you supposed to decide which friends to put in your MySpace Top 8???).
In this emotional and nostalgia-fueled return to childhood, we see six tweens working through their own understanding of peer-pressure, relationships, violence, gender, sex, and their bodies. They feel things they don't have words for, learn things that aren't fair, and try to reconcile their ongoing childhood with a rapidly approaching adulthood.
Return with us to some of the toughest years of adolescence to laugh, cry, and dance it out in our rooms to Brittany Spears.
