Mark opens his 2026 account by playing a solo show at his local, The Merri Bar in Preston on Saturday the 17th of January.
These shows find Mark in a more relaxed mode, with the odd cover version, and a generous amount of banter between himself and the audience. Who knows? He might even take requests if you ask nicely…..
Charlie Marshall will perform the first set of the evening.
Charlie is a critically acclaimed songwriter from Melbourne with a lauded history.
His previous bands the legendary blues/punk outfit Harem Scarem and long-standing solo lineup The Body Electric - have featured musicians from The Dirty Three, Avalanches, Beasts of Bourbon, Hunters and Collectors, Surrealists, Chris Wilson and The Moodists.
To label Charlie as a Melbourne legend would be an understatement.
The evening starts at 7pm and runs to 9pm
The show is free, and we would recommend booking a table, as the venue is rather cosy, and space fills up very quickly!
