In , the latest and final installment in The Four-Color trilogy, audiences step into the revolutionary 1960s, when Marvel Comics redefined storytelling and unleashed a dazzling universe of unforgettable characters. But behind the scenes of this creative explosion lay a tangled web of ambition, collaboration, and conflict.
Four actors who originated roles in the Trilogy will be present to read a selection of scenes. Mark will be interviewed by Jessica Lauren Fisher, a Chicago-based actress who is also our very own Used Book Buyer! Following the reading and interview, there will be time for audience questions and a book signing.
Mark Pracht was raised in the mountains near Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a company member of the Sheleterbelt Theatre in Omaha, Nebraska, where he helped develop and produce seven world premiere productions, including his own full-length play, NEON. He’s worked as an actor, director and playwright in the Chicago theatre community since 2001, and received the 2019 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Performance in a Principal Role. His work has been produced in Chicago by City Lit Theatre, Brown Couch Theatre company, where he served as Artistic Director, and Strangeloop theatre.

is thrilled to revisit the comic book world, having originated the role of Portia in Mark of Kane. Annie is also an ensemble member at The Artistic Home. Other Chicago acting credits include work with GoTo Productions, Midsommer Flight, and City Lit, among many others.
Charlie Diaz is a native Chicagoan. Previous credits include MacBeth, Three Sisters, Crucible and Hulius Caesar at Invictus, Innocence of Seduction at City Lit, and Steep Theatre.
