Maritime Day presented by Washington Maritime Federation
WMF Members and friends:
Please join the Washington Maritime Federation (WMF) Board and our partners for a day of in-person advocacy with “Maritime Day 2026,” set for Thursday, February 5th in Olympia, WA.
Our annual Maritime Day advocacy event gives participants the opportunity to join industry colleagues from around the state in meetings with elected leaders on the Capitol Campus in Olympia.
Maritime Day will begin with a welcome kickoff on the Capitol Campus at 0730, featuring a light breakfast and orientation (and coffee!). Then, we will head out to the targeted meetings we will be setting up for you. The various legislative meetings run from 0800-1700 and typically last about 15 minutes each. The day will include a working lunch for participants with a featured speaker.
To cap off this signature event, WMF will co-host the annual Ports and Maritime Day reception with the Washington Public Ports Association, featuring Pacific Northwest seafood. All Maritime Day participants are welcome to attend!
Attendees will receive additional details on agenda, speakers, and legislative objectives as we get closer to the February 5th date.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ATTENDEES: Because of requirements for in-person meetings in Olympia, WE NEED ALL ATTENDEES TO RSVP NO LATER THAN Friday, January 23rd.
To help cover costs for this event, we are asking members to pay a $125 registration fee, which includes the Eventbrite-ticketing service charge, food for the day, and materials for your meetings.
