Jump up, superstars! Join hostess Kirsten from Extra Life upstairs at the Buzz Bomb library for a day of fun and friendly competition all while helping out the local Springfield community!
3pm - 6:45pm: Open Gaming
Both tvs are available with Nintendo Switches hooked up for laid back social gaming. Feeling up for a round of Mario Party with friends? Or are you feeling retro with some of the classic games found in the Nintendo online library? There might be a tricky joker or two with Balatro. Registration for the evening’s Mario Kart tournament is available at this time.
7pm: Spring Mario Kart Tournament
Our Mario Day celebration concludes with the Spring Mario Kart tournament! Compete in multiple rounds of high flying, adrenaline rushing 4 player 150cc races until we crown our champion.
Don’t like one of the pre-selected courses that round? Purchase a ban hammer and replace it with one of your favorites!
Registration is a $10 donation, and the Ban Hammer is a $5 donation. Prizes will be awarded to our top 3 finalists.
All proceeds will go to Extra Life, which is part of the Children’s Miracle Network, and will stay local to the Springfield area with St John’s Children’s Hospital as a beneficiary.
We encourage all to attend and have a great time regardless of ability and enjoy a wonderful day for a great cause. We hope to see you there!
