If you love Mario Kart, want to compete for glory and prizes, and help out the local community, we have just the event for you!Grab your Koopa shells and banana peels and join us at Buzz Bomb Brewing Company on November 9th at 6pm to compete head to head in multiple rounds of high flying races until we crown our champion. Don’t like one of the pre-selected courses that round? Purchase a ban hammer and replace it with one of your favorites!All proceeds will go to Extra Life, which is part of the Children’s Miracle Network, and will stay local to the Springfield area with St John’s Children’s Hospital as a beneficiary.We encourage all to attend and have a great time regardless of ability and enjoy an action packed afternoon for a wonderful cause. We hope to see you there!Here’s the nitty gritty:• $10 donation for entry. Pre-registration is available via paper signup or you can register the day of the tournament.
• 4 players will go head to head in group play of 4 150cc races
• Top 2 from each group will advance until we have a final 4.
• Any tiebreakers will be a one race winner take all.
• The winner will receive a $25 Nintendo eshop gift card. There will also be prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.
• Also available for a donation is the “Ban Hammer,” a one time mulligan to remove a set track and replace it with one of your own choosing.In person Registration and check-in is from 6pm until 7pm. Once the tournament starts, feel free to support and cheer on the contestants!
