Meet SCDNR's marine biologists, fisheries managers, and educators and get a behind-the-scenes look at their work in a fun and relaxed setting. Open House is a free, family-friendly event with dozens of activities for all ages, including:+ Observation tanks with live marine animals 🐚

PLEASE NOTE: Car parking is at James Island Charter High School, where shuttles will be waiting to transport visitors to the Marine Resources Center. Parking for bikes, golf carts and disabled parking permit-holders is available directly at the Marine Resources Center.
Be sure to take advantage of our spectacular view of Charleston Harbor; visitors are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the point. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase on site.
