This course covers the principles of refrigeration for the marine and offshore industry. The first two days look at the theory of thermodynamics, the vapour compression cycle, energy efficiency and the repair process. The next two days are fully practical, and you will be trained on how to repair a system to industry standards. The final day is exams.

Regulations (2002).
MSDS – Material Safety Data Sheets

Brazing pipework using MAPP Gas to industry standards
Thermodynamics & Heat Transfer Principles
Refrigeration System Components
Repairing Leaks on Sea-Water Cooling Systems

CERTIFICATION
Palma, Mallorca, Spain – TWE Certificate of Completion
Please Note: The course in Spain does not include the C&G 2079 FGas qualification as it is not a requirement for the marine industry. Should you wish to obtain this qualification anyway, then you can either compete the full 5 day course at our UK training facility OR do the 5 day course in Palma and then just sit the C&G 2079 exams with us in the UK. The exams can be completed in 1 day at our UK training facility.

Specifically for marine and offshore personnel who need to repair refrigeration systems. This course
will give you the skills needed to confidently repair and commission refrigeration and air conditioning
systems in these environments.
