Marilyn's 80s Video Party Sat 11 Oct

Marilyn’s 80s Party has been an iconic night out since its inception in 1981, when it first kicked off at the legendary Treasury Hotel as Marilyn’s Cocktail Bar. Over the decades, it has evolved into one of Brisbane’s most beloved and enduring celebrations of alternative 80s music and culture. Today, the party lives on in with regular events, bringing together the people the music and the added edition of the videos, fully remasted.

This year’s event features the best of new wave, alternative, and synth-pop artists, with their iconic songs and videos playing on the big screen to create a fully immersive experience. From The Cure’s haunting melodies to the pulsating synths of Depeche Mode, the infectious hooks of New Order, the night celebrates a diverse range of legendary acts that shaped the greatest music era of all time. Marilyn’s 80s Party 2025 returns on Saturday, October 11, at the refurbished Wickham Hotel in Fortitude Valley. DJs Peter Brown and DJ Kyle will be packing the dance floor with hits from the following artists from 7:30pm until late. This is an 18+ event. Early Bird tickets on sale now
