Calling all future teachers, school counselors, and mentors in the making!The Office of Admission is hosting an Education Visit Day for prospective students and their families on Friday, October 24th. This is a great opportunity for prospective students interested in becoming teachers to learn more about the offerings in the Education Department at Marietta College, meet the faculty, speak with students currently enrolled in the Education program, and more.
The event includes:
• Student Activities & Resource Fair
• Observation of a student teacher
• Educators panel (for parents)
• Hands-on teaching experience (for students)
• Current student panel
• Financial Aid presentation (for parents)
• Career Center presentation (for parents)
• Campus tour
• Complimentary lunch
This event is designed for high school students who are interested in careers in education.
