About this Event
Mariel Bildsen's Sextet will present a tribute concert in honor of Woodhaven's only musician to be included in the prestigious Queens Jazz Trail Map, Cutty Cutshall. Cutshall, who passed away on tour in 1968, lived right off Woodhaven Boulevard and played with legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Eddie Condon, and Bennie Goodman. Expect an afternoon of classic jazz, arranged especially for this concert by Bildsten. The concert will also include a short historic introduction to give context to Cutshall's contributions to the music.
