The Houston Flute Club is thrilled to announce a masterclass led by renowned flutist Marianne Gedigian at Rice University (Room 1133) on Friday, February 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This unique event is open to all adult flutists (not currently in college or grad school). Marianne will work with five performers, chosen by lottery, offering personalized guidance and expert advice.Location: Rice University, Shepherd School of Music, Room 1133

How to Perform:
Lottery Selection: To perform, fill out the online form to enter the lottery. We will notify selected performers roughly 2 weeks before the class.
Topics to Bring: No specific repertoire is required! Performers should come prepared to work on topics like sound, pitch, or technical challenges. Feel free to bring etudes, technical studies, or other material you’d like to focus on.
How to Attend:
The event is free to attend for HFC Members, but seating is limited to 60–65 people. Non-member registration is available for a small fee. Advanced registration is required for all attendees.
