About Maria Black: Oxidising gold and silver into tiny bubbles as a replacement for beading or gemstones, Maria Black works her creations into fierce spikes and dramatic curves, or minimalist, geometric shapes. Despite this refined approach, Black’s earrings, necklaces and bracelets are far from simple; each multi-textured piece is versatile and thoroughly individual, using a combination of traditional craftmanship and modern techniques.
Maria Black piercing event: During this one-hour appointment, the Maria Black experts will guide you through the best pieces for your complexion, style and personal taste with a tailored jewellery consultation. Browse the collection and select your favourite piece, then join the team for your complimentary piercing appointment.
Booking fee £20 per appointment - fully redeemable on purchases from the Maria Black collection during your appointment.
Appointments are available at the following dates and times:
- Friday 26th and Saturday 27th August: 10am - 7pm
- Sunday 28th August: 11am-4pm

All appointments require an advanced booking, and each person in your group requires their own appointment.

Piercing laws in England require a minimum age of 12 for lobes and 14 for cartilage; anyone 16 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and two forms of ID must be provided by both parties (parent/legal guardian* and a child). Please note: anyone aged 16-21 must show photo ID. For our customers safety Maria Black reserves the right to refuse anyone at its discretion. *If you are a legal guardian you will need to bring documentation stating that you are the legal guardian. **Acceptable forms of ID: Passport/EU ID Card, Drivers Licence/Provisional, Citizen Card Please note: Maria Black cannot accept copies or digital images of ID.
Please note that we are unable to perform the piercing procedure if you are pregnant or nursing, if you are under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs or if you are planning on piercing through scars (ear plastic surgery). If you have any other condition that may affect your ability to get pierced, then please contact Maria Black to speak to a specialist who will be able to assess whether you can get pierced. Maria Black reserves the right to request proof of ID or to refuse anyone at its discretion.
