Now in its 20th year, the Margaret River Art Auction returns to celebrate two decades of creativity, community and connection. A much-loved annual event, it has become a standout on the Margaret River social calendar and remains a vital fundraiser for the Margaret River Independent School (MRIS). Over the years, the auction has evolved into one of the region’s most anticipated arts event, providing an exciting platform for both emerging and established while strengthening community ties through the shared love of art.
This year’s event promises an inspiring night filled with local talent, entertainment, and generosity. Guests will enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival, a light supper, live music and the excitement of both a live and silent auction. Attendees can relax with a glass of local wine or a cold Gage Road Brewery beer, all while celebrating the arts in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Thanks to generous local sponsors, over $11,000 in art prizes will be awarded, including the Margaret River Independent School Art Prize (supported by Annapurna Wholefoods), People’s Choice Award (sponsored by Margaret River Re-Gutters), Packers Prize (sponsored by Ray White Stocker Preston), Emerging Artist Prize (sponsored by Margaret River Office National), Sustainability Art Prize (sponsored by Homes by Nature), and the newly introduced Huesso Award, proudly sponsored by Lazarus Horticulture.
More than just an auction, this is a celebration of local culture, creativity, and community spirit - where artists are honoured, connections are made, and guests have the chance to take home a piece of Margaret River magic.
