Join Margaret Musgrove to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the Coldecott winning book Ashanti to Zulu: African Traditions.
The book features twenty-six illustrations of native African peoples, each accompanied by a short vignette describing one of the customs of that particular people.
A short film based on the book will be presented prior to the author program.
About the Author:
Margaret Musgrove is a children's book author and teaches at Loyola University in Maryland.
About the Program:
- Doors will open to registered attendees at 5pm.
- All registered in person attendees will receive a free copy of the book while supplies last.
- Free parking vouchers are available to program attendees who park at the Franklin Street Garage (15 W. Franklin Street) after 4 pm. Ask Pratt event staff for your parking voucher prior to or after the program.
