Looking for a great way to keep the kiddos occupied and engaged while they’re out of school for the Mardi Gras holiday? We’re thrilled to host an exciting Mardi Gras camp for kids this year! It’s a week packed with fun, learning, and, of course, furry friends. Whether your child is an animal lover or just looking for a unique way to spend their break, this camp is the perfect opportunity!
Camp Details:
🐾 Who: Children ages 6 to 11
🐾 When: March 3rd – March 7th, 2025
🐾 Time: 9 AM – 4 PM (Drop-off begins at 8:30 AM)
🐾 Cost: $250 per child (lunch & snacks provided by parents)
What to Expect: Campers will enjoy a variety of hands-on activities and interactive games, all focused on celebrating the animals in our community! They’ll meet animal experts and ambassadors, learn about animal care and advocacy, and even participate in service projects that directly benefit the shelter’s homeless pets.
Activities include:
🐾 Helping our rescued animals
🐾 Learning how to care for pets
🐾 Engaging with guest speakers such as the St. Tammany Parish Canine Unit, Love on a Leash, veterinarians, and more!
Our camp programs are designed to instill values of responsibility, empathy, and respect for animals, providing kids with a unique, hands-on learning experience.
Extra Options:
🐾 Before care (8 AM – 9 AM) and After care (4 PM – 5 PM) are available for $50 each.
🐾 T-shirts are available for an additional $20 and can be purchased during registration.
