Your Big Easy adventure begins in Nashville with a family-style Southern meal at Monell’s Restaurant, followed by a visit to the Johnny Cash Museum. That evening, we’ll continue south and check into our hotel in Fultondale, AL, with dinner on your own at nearby restaurants like Full Moon BBQ, El Patron, J wings and Mad Pies Pizzeria.
On Thursday, travel to Slidell, LA, for the Honey Island Swamp Tour, where a guided boat ride takes you deep into the swamp to spot wildlife like alligators and bald eagles. Later, we’ll arrive in New Orleans, check into Q&C Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter, and spend the evening immersed in the vibrant sights, sounds, and energy of the Big Easy.
Friday features a legendary brunch at the Court of Two Sisters, with the remainder of the day free to explore parades, museums, jazz clubs, or Bourbon Street on your own. Saturday is also open for more discovery before Sunday’s stop in Meridian, MS, for a historic Southern brunch at Weidman’s Restaurant before heading home.
