Pastors Eddie and Pat Trice along with the South Plains Church family are happy to welcome Marcos Witt to South Plains Church for four powerful services on Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, June 27th. There is no admission fee, but tickets will be required for each service due to high demand and limited seating. Every person sitting in the service must have a ticket, including children not attending the Children’s Ministry.
Tickets will be available for pick up at South Plains Church from Tuesday, June 1st through Wednesday, June 23rd. Tickets can also be mailed out by calling South Plains Church and requesting to be mailed prior to Thursday, June 17th. Tickets will not be mailed after June 17th.
The first service will be an all Spanish Speaking Service on Saturday, June 26th at 6:00pm.
There will be three all English Speaking Services on Sunday morning, June 27th at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.
This will be the first time Marcos Witt has visited South Plains Church and the Levelland area.
Marcos Witt is considered the most influential and famous Spanish-speaking figure in Christian music. He is a five-time Latin Grammy Award winning Christian artist. Marcos, not only a singer/songwriter, is also known as an author, conference speaker and pastor. In the role of Pastor, he may be most well known in his former role as Pastor of the Spanish congregation at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX for Joel Osteen. In the literature area, he has written 10 books in Spanish, one of which was translated to English.
In 1986, Witt founded CanZion Productions. He has recorded 30 albums that are available on cassette, CD and DVD. He has sold over 27,000,000 copies of his records in the United States, Mexico and Latin America. Between 2009 and 2012, more than 3,000,000 people attended his concerts in some of the main venues in Latin America.
There will be four exciting services with Marcos Witt. The services will begin Saturday, June 26th at 6:00 p.m. with the doors opening at 5:00 p.m., then will continue on Sunday, June 27th at 8:30am, 10:30am, and 12:30pm with doors opening 30 minutes prior to each service.
Our amazing Children’s Ministry will be available for children ages 6 weeks through 4th grade during all service times. Children attending the Children’s Ministry will not need tickets but they must be registered as tickets are received.
