About this Event
Join us for our March WomenRISE Workshop: Redefining Sales for Founders: Building Relationships That Drive Growth with Melinda Garvey, founder of On The Dot, and InHer Circle.
Most founders don’t like to call themselves “salespeople”—but the truth is, if you’re building a business, you’re selling every day. The good news? Sales don’t have to feel transactional, pushy, or inauthentic. This session will reframe sales as relationship-building, problem-solving, and connecting—so you can embrace the role with confidence and integrity.
We’ll explore how to focus on solving real problems (not just perceived ones), how to build meaningful connections that last beyond the transaction, and how sharing your networks creates a flywheel effect that continuously fuels your funnel. You’ll leave with practical strategies to approach sales in a way that feels natural, aligned with your values, and true to who you are as a founder.
Key Takeaways
- Reframe sales as relationship-building, not selling.
- Learn how to uncover and address real vs. perceived problems for your customers.
- Discover ways to show up with value outside the sales cycle—by helping, connecting, and listening.
- Understand the power of sharing your networks to build a self-sustaining funnel.
- Walk away with a practical framework to embrace sales as a founder—with authenticity, confidence, and purpose.
Everyone will receive the Zoom link regardless of how you register. Please do not register for both in-person and virtual.
