Free Family Event - March Second Saturday: “Camellias”
Did you know that Gamble Garden is part of the American Camellia Trail? Join us for a free, family-friendly event celebrating these stunning winter bloomers! Explore guided tours of our camellia collection, engage with interactive learning stations, enjoy hands-on arts activities, and delight in story time for children. There’s something for everyone to discover in the garden!
For Families: Free Guided Nature Hunts and crafts
Go on a guided nature hunt to find camellias and enjoy hands-on nature activities. These activities are ideal for families with children ages 3-12.
For Adults: Free Guided Garden and House Tours
Enjoy guided tours and take a look inside Elizabeth’s historic house and horticultural library. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions.
Visit Elizabeth’s House
Walk through Elizabeth’s house, built in 1902, and get a look into the early days of Palo Alto.
Registration
Second Saturday is free and appropriate for all ages. Register for timed entry at 10 AM , 10:30 AM, and 11 AM. Register in advance or at the door. We look forward to seeing you on Second Saturday! Rain or shine.
