Bio: Andrea Moore has worked for the State of Michigan for twenty years with the last seven years in the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Ms. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Davenport University. She is currently the manager for the Long-Term• Care (LTC) State Licensing Section for the Bureau of Community and Health Systems. Prior to this, she worked for thirteen years in the Certificate of Need Section for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
As the LTC State Licensing Section Manager, Ms. Moore is responsible for the licensure of nursing homes and homes for the aged in Michigan. This includes the day-to-day oversight of the team that reviews applications, completes licensing surveys, and complaint investigations, to ensure compliance with the public health code and applicable administrative rules.
