About this Event
This is a paid meeting: This meeting will cost $8 which you will pay upon arrival at the garden. Please let them know upon arrival that you are here for Silent Book Club. You are welcome to arrive early/stay after our meeting to explore the gardens!
Food: Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy while you read! Please be mindful to clean up after yourself :)
General Meeting Timeline: 30 min of bookish chit-chat & ordering, 1 hour of silent reading, and last 30 mins to read/chat before we leave.
Arrival: Please check in with the SBC host upon arrival. We will meet in the "Circular Lawn" (#18 on the map)
Parking: ENTER FAIR PARK THRU GATE 6, TURN RIGHT, TAKE NEXT IMMEDIATE RIGHT INTO PARKING LOT 6B, WALK ACROSS THE STREET AND FOLLOW THE SIDEWALK TO THE FRONT DOOR ENTRANCE
Community Guidelines
3 Month Rule: If you RSVP and no-show for three meetings, you will automatically be placed on the waitlist for three months to allow others the opportunity to attend. If your plans change, we ask that you adjust your RSVP here on Eventbrite 2 days before the event, so that we have time to notify any members on the waitlist. Of course we understand that last minute issues will arise without warning, but we ask that you please contact us as soon as possible to let us know. You can reach out to us via Instagram, WhatsApp, or the Eventbrite.
One meeting a month and paid meetings: For the time being, we ask that you attend only 1 free meeting a month. Because this is a paid meeting in addition to our regular unpaid events in the same month, you are welcome to attend two meetings this month.
