The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society will host its monthly public meeting on Friday, March 7th, at Rainbow Park Observatory starting at 7:30 p.m. RRAS member Darin Templet will discuss the French astronomer Charles Messier and his catalog of deep-sky objects, as well as how to view all 110 in a single night during the upcoming Messier Marathon at our dark site at White Ridge Bike Trails.
The meeting begins Friday, February 7th, at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Weather permitting, telescopes will be available for public stargazing after the meeting.
