Jeremy Walsh is one of the Cowichan Valley's folk music heroes. His career canopy arcs from Ireland to Newfoundland to West Coast inspiration and innovation on Vancouver Island, B.C. A modern, Celtic/Folk/Roots singer/songwriter, Jeremy’s driving rhythm guitar and gut-driven troubadour voice carry the traditions from whence they spring.
Growing organically from past incarnations as Scruj Macduhk and his own acclaimed Jeremy Walsh Band, recent collaborators include Victoria’s fiddle emissaries Calvin Cairns, Ivonne Hernandez, and Victoria’s own traditional Irish/Celtic ensembles, the Slieves and Clanna Morna.
He has spent most of February on tour with Genevieve Charbonneau and Stephanie Cutler (Firebird) so let's make sure he doesn't forget how much we love him here at home!
