#Unique Learning Opportunity on a Diversified Working Farm#Creative - Engaging - Fun
#Hands-On learning featuring Skills in Milking Goats, Raising Baby Goats, Horse Training and Communication, Alpaca Fibre Dyeing and Team-Building Activities in the Woodlands
At Jireh Hills Family Homestead, we have created a learning program that has been designed by a qualified secondary school teacher that has been homeschooling and homesteading with her family for the past 18 years. As a mother of 8, Cheryl and her older girls, with the added assistance of her husband, this amazing teaching team has a vision to inspire and create a love of learning for each child in our program.
Our Farm and Forest School will be running a March Break Special program on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

We will enjoy a horse training demonstration that includes seeing how we use ground work to communicate in "horse" language to teach and control our largest horse, Winchester.
We will feed the kunekune pigs and work together to bring them out to their pasture (weather permitting).
We will feed the alpacas treats and afterwards take a peak at their amazing fibre.
After lunch break (please BYO lunch), we will explore the woodland trails and play a few survival games including a team-building exercise.
Our Farm School is limited to 12 students per day
