Camp for the youngest of campers means exploring different tools, styles and methods through play and experimentation. 4-6-year-old campers will work with two different educators each day, switching studios after the lunch break, to absorb a wide spectrum of ideas. With visits to our exhibitions, time for outdoor play (weather permitting), and an inspiring setting, each day is a fun and balanced opportunity to get creative!
*Registration open to campers aged 4 as of January 1st, 2025
Please note: If courses are purchased at member price, and membership is not active, you will be charged for the membership.
ART MATERIALS: Included with registration fee.
WHAT TO WEAR: Clothing appropriate for messy work in the studio – something that nobody would mind if it got stained. Consider an over-sized shirt for regular use when making art before, during and after camp. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
WHAT TO BRING: Snacks and a lunch that are nut-free (we take two snack breaks and a lunch break), a change of clothes, a large box or bag to bring art home.
HOW TO GET IN: Access our building via the Brock Lobby doors - the doors adjacent to our parking lot. We will have a parking pass ready for you inside. Please note that the Lakeshore doors do not open until 10:00 AM on Tuesday-Friday, and will remain locked on Mondays when the gallery is closed to the general public.
ALLERGIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS: Please remember to notify us on your registration form if the camper has an allergy, health concern or disability that could impact participation in the class. We want to ensure the best possible experience and are happy to accommodate a wide variety of access needs.
PLEASE NOTE: We go outside after lunch, so please bring or wear weather-appropriate clothing, including a warm coat, hat and mittens/gloves.
