About this Event
A lot of things are needed to develop affordable housing in California -- a development team, proposed projects, appropriate sites, government support, for a few, but NONE is more important than MONEY and that is what this year's CAL-ALHFA Conference is all about.
During the course of the conference we will be discussing:
- The Governor's Proposed Housing and Homelessness Budget
- The $10 billion Housing Bond to be placed on the November 2026 ballot
- Local financing initiatives
Other options, such as in-kind and self-help activities
You will hear about local, state, federal and private resources and will be given plenty of time to ask questions about your specific projects. The last session of the conference will be devoted exclusively to answering questions submitted by YOU about YOUR PROJECTS.
