So... I get the question all the time... what is up with Unscripted? Well. In my 20's I lived in LA after graduating from Musicians Institute, then called G.I.T.. In the ensuing years I was lucky enough to do a lot of studio work and what amazed me the most is that you could walk into one of these legendary rooms, meet a bunch of amazing players, get handed a chart and have a record in a couple of hours. The way that these very talented musicians came together not knowing what was going to happen or how things would sound, has always stayed with me. It was unbelievable what would result from a group of skilled musicians, pro players, and everyone putting their training and instincts on display. THAT's what Unscripted is all about. No rehearsals... a quick explanation of the song onstage, and everyone paying attention and playing their $@% off. Please come! I ask for your support as the turnout determines the paycheck for these friends and artists.Music starts at 7, get there early to grab a seat, a drink, and look around at all of the trinkets and treasures at Jenks. This is a sober friendly, family friendly, FREE event.
