Yep, little Rhoda Penmark herself, Oscar nominated star Patty McCormack, will tap, tap, tap her way onto the Historic Camelot Theatre stage to share with us true tales of her life in shoe-bizness. She'll be interviewed by Luke Yankee, acclaimed author of Just Outside the Spotlight: Growing Up With Eileen Heckart.

This seedy extravaganza of "bad" taste also features:

  • Stellar performances by Nancy French, Steven LeMay, Matthew Martin and Kit Tapata.
  • A highlight clip reel covering McCormack's extensive career.
  • FREE screening of the 1956 camp classic The Bad Seed.

Marc Huestis is an award winning filmmaker, camp impresario and social activist. He is best known for his sold-out in-person tributes/benefit events spanning two decades and feting such legendary names from Hollywood's Golden Age such as Debbie Reynolds, Ann-Margret, Ann Miller, Jane Russell, Sandra Dee, Tony Curtis, Patty Duke, Kim Novak and Rita Moreno to cult personalities such as John Waters, as well as his motion pictures Whatever Happened to Susan Jane? (1982) his camp classic fiction feature delving into the wild demimonde of the early ' 80s New Wave/Punk scene in San Francisco; the acclaimed documentary Chuck Solomon: Coming of Age (1986) amongst the first wave AIDS documentaries; and Sex IsÅ  winner of the Teddy Award for Best Gay Film at the 1993 Berlin International Film Festival. He is a co-winner of the 2001 Frameline Award in Recognition as Co-Founding the SF Frameline LGBT Film Festival (now the largest & oldest in the country), and recipient of the SF Bay Guardian's Lifetime Achievement Goldie Award in 2010. His memoir Impresario of Castro Street (2019) marked his debut as an author and garnered critical praise. Lauretta Molitor's documentary about Huestis Impresario debuted at the 2022 Frameline Fest to impressive reviews.
