As part of our Sevier Day festivities, we invite you to join us for a special talk by Jack Neely from the Knoxville History Project. From 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Neely will present "Marble Springs and the Memory of John Sevier in South Knoxville History," where he will delve into the rich history of Marble Springs and how the memory of John Sevier has evolved over the past 210 years. Discover the intriguing journey of this historic site within the broader story of South Knoxville.This talk is just one highlight of a day full of 18th-century fun. Earlier in the day, enjoy living history demonstrations, crafting demos, live music, militia drills, games, dancing, storytelling, and more! Be sure to stay tuned for additional announcements.
