About this Event
WHAT WE WILL LEARN
Decolonise and reclaim time and space through the Māori lunar system. Learn how to use this at home with your whanau, tamariki, planning events or marae hui. We will cover
- Exploring time and tohu
- The key lunar phases
- The atua (god) of each key phase
- Pūrakau (stories) of the different atua
- Everyday examples of how to incorporate maramataka at home or at mahi.
An interactive workshop for anyone wanting to learn more!
