In this workshop we will be brainstorming 'mapping' - what does it mean, why do we do it and how can we illustrate it. Think stitching, cutting back, layering, drawing, fabric, paper, canvas - we'll be experimenting and being creative.Starting with a short session of “no fear drawing” - I'll take you on a journey and you'll be drawing it - honestly nothing to worry about - this is about mark making and patterns as much as anything else.
I hope by then end of the day we will have 4 small stitch sketches that we can take home and develop."
Please bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee and biscuits will be available.
How to book: The cost is £30 for CETG members and £35 for visitors.
Contact the workshop organiser, Towse, on [email protected] for payment details.
