About this Event
Join the Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women for the community reception to wrap up our three-part tour series, Mapping Feminist Cambridge (MFC). Each tour covered one Cambridge neighborhood square, Central, Inman, or Harvard Square. Tours highlighted the impact local individual's and organization's had on the feminist movement between 1970s-1990s; covering racial equity, reproductive health care and abortion access, women in film and print, healing for survivors, lesbian and bisexual visibility, political collectives, folk music, entrepreneurship, and more.
Following the final tour of the series, the Harvard Square tour** on October 24th, join us for a community reception at the Commonwealth Wine School at 7pm to celebrate those who contributed to MFC: researchers, the Advisory Committee, and those who shared their personal stories. Free and open to all!
*You must register for each tour individually. Each tour's starting location will be shared after you register.
**Registering for the Harvard Square tour automatically registers you for the community celebration.
