Join us for a hike up Hallaway Hill trail at Maplewood State Park in MN to view the fall colors. (Weather Permitting) This is about an hour drive from Fargo.
My kids and I will plan to go to the little beach area past the rest rooms and parking lot after the hike for some free play. my kids love this area and even in late September/early October have enjoyed playing in the water.
I will also bring some stories themed around fall to read.
Dress for the weather, layers work well and pack lots of water and a picnic if you would like.
The hike can be a bit of a struggle with a wagon or stroller though I have done it with a wagon before.
